NLD Ontario
NLD Ontario provides advocacy advisory support to families with regard to:
- the IPRC/IEP process
- writing appropriate IEP statements
- specialized equipment funding (ISA-1) information
- and special education services provided by school boards for exceptional students
NLD Ontario has developed a PowerPoint presentation which provides a detailed look at:
- what is NLD?
- how NLD presents itself
- what it is like to have NLD
- along with accommodation and strategies for NLD student, at home and at school, in the areas of reading, writing, math, executive functions, and social skill development
This presentation has been produced with the intent of providing specific NLD information for individual school staffs, resource teachers, parents, and public groups.
